Jammu Kashmir Vichar Manch proudly announces the 34th Saamohik Shivratri Mahotsav 2026, on 22nd Feb,2026- a grand celebration of faith, culture, and community. This sacred gathering will bring together devotees, families, and well‑wishers to honor Lord Shiva in the spirit of unity and tradition. The Mahotsav stands as a vibrant testament to our collective heritage—blending devotional rituals, cultural performances, and spiritual reflection. As we step into the 34th year of this cherished tradition, the event promises to be a beacon of Kashmiri Pandit identity, resilience, and devotion, inspiring generations to come.

Hindi Bhawan, V,D Marg, New Delhi

Jammu Kashmir Vichar Manch came into existence in 1995 after the Kashmiri Hindus were forced to leave their homes and settle in various parts of the country. JKVM is a socio-cultural organization working towards cause of the Kashmiri Hindus in exile. The group constitutes of some philanthropic social activists doing selfless community welfare activities.

The major fall out of the migration has been, the community youth losing the connection with the culture and language of Kashmir. So we decided to organise the youth related activities in Delhi /NCR and other parts of India that would keep them connected to their roots. JKVM has been dedicatedly working towards upholding the cultural ethos of the community and connecting the young community people with the Kashmiri language. Various seminars, symposiums, cultural events, debates are organised throughout the year to make the younger generation aware of their history and origin and also keep them updated on the current socio political affairs.

JKVM has also taken it on itself to highlight the sufferings of the KP community post migration and have been doing its bit to mitigate the sufferings of the community from time to time.

JKVM has always tried to create awareness among the masses in the rest of country on the plight of KP community in exile.
